The final of the John Stewart Memorial double rink knockout competition came down to Kinross versus Dunfermline curling clubs, contested this evening.
Jim Barr of Dunfermline stated it is no disgrace for Kinross to lose to the current National Double Rink Champions, but It was of little comfort to the Kinross players that it came down to one end, and one point, in Dunfermline’s favour, again. The event did lead to memories of John being raised, and great camaraderie between neighbouring clubs.
