The Lomond League came to a close this week, with Kinross finishing in 5th place. A poor start to the league saw us well down the table but better results in the second half ensured a more respectable finish, though not enough to defend the trophy won last season. Two wins this week – Dougie Rodger in a rearranged game with Glenfarg Ladies and Iain Cormack over Rattray – saw us finish on 17 points, 6 behind winners Rothes and runners-up Bishopshire. A better start needed next season!
